Bright and versatile for anywhere in the well-appointed home, this work by Mary Brewster Hazelton (1868-1952) is an oil on canvas, signed lower left. A Masseachussets painter, she attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Hazelton was awarded the Hallgarten Prize from the National Adademy of Design in 1896. Today, her coveted paintings are in the colletions of the Massachussets State House, Harvard University, the Peabody Essex Museum and the Wellesley Historical Society.

Measures with frame 29”x25”, without frame 23.5”x20.5”
