Yves Ganne (1931-2019) was French. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Nantes and with Fernand Leger in Paris. He successfully exhibited at the Prix de la Jeune Peinture in 1950 and was awarded the Prix de la Ville Menton in the same year. He held his first Paris Exhibition in 1954 at Drouant David’s, and a second in 1957. He also exhibited in London at Tooth and Sons. Today his works are present in museums such as the Musee d’Art Moderne in Paris and the Museum of the City of Paris - impressive honors both.
