This well-listed artist was born in Brussels, and attended the Academy in Sint-Gillis/Bruxelles wher he studied under Francois Gaillard. Known as the “Brussels Utrillo”, he was appreciated for his Brussels scenes, especially arund the Red Monastery. A very well known and highly regarded painter, his work is present in major European museume, and is covered in the book “Two Centuries of Belgian Artists” (PIRON).
