Impressionist Landscape - Paul Felix Vallois
Oil on canvas by Paul Felix Vallois (1845-1906). Signed lower right and dated 1898. A student of Leon Bonnat and Arsene Rivet, Vallois exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1876 to 1882. His street scenes, water scenes and landscapes often shimmer with depth and his ability to convey texture, and are most often calm in tones. At present some of his works are present in the museum of Louvires.
