English Florals - Examples from a SERIES

$85.00

These beautifully colored floral chromolithographs are not reproductions, but are original prints, dated 1842. Drawn by Sir Joseph Paxton who was known for his Paxton’s Magazine of Botany, published in 16 volumes between 1834-1849. He also published the Paxton’s Fower Garden which is a larger format and rarer than his magazine - these are from the rarer Paxton’s Flower Garden. The shadowing on the background is from the photography, and is not part of the print. Each measures 8.5” x 11”. We are happy to send photos of the remainder to assist you in choosing the single or set that works best for you; these are just a few examples. Some (not all) include a sketch below the primary image.
