Kees Terlouw (1890-1948) was a Dutch Impressionist painter, trained in Rotterdam. Later he moved to France. In 1936 he exhibited at the Rue des Forges Gallery and the Art Gallery Louyot. The next year, in 1937, he held a solo exhibition at the prestigious Actuaryus Gallery in Strasbourg. Today his works are present in museums such as the Art History Museum in Magdeburg, the Municipal Gallery in Munich, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart.
