Beach Scene - Jean Pierre Dubord

This work is by Jean Pierre Dubord, born in 1949. He is French and considered one of the great painters of the Rouen school of France. He is known for his post-impressionist style with work primarily based in Normandy, Brittany and Venice, and also the Siene as his primary subjects. In 1985 he received honorable mention at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris. He has held exhibition exhibitions in Tokyo, New York, Chicago, Palm Beach and Miami. This lovely, open composition of the shore is oil on canvas signed, lower right in original frame with the artist inscription on verso.

Measurements with frame 31 x 25, without frame 25 x 20.
